100 Things about Moi
100 things
1. I have curly hair and have learned over 28 years to just deal with it.
2. But I also love to straighten it and look like a fabulous super model when I do.
3. I love heels. Any shape, form or fashion. They are fabulous
4. I wear a size 6 shoe.
5. I am 5’1”, hence, number 2.

9. I am a fast reader. I could read a book in a day if I really put my mind to it.
10. My favorite author is Sidney Sheldon, but Harlan Coben is giving him a run for his money.
11. I love fashion. I don’t understand why I don’t’ make a lot of money and can buy designer names. I am so much smarter than Jessica Simpson. Bitch.
12. Pizza and macaroni and cheese are my favorite foods. But not necessarily together.
13. I always have to have something sweet after my lunch and dinner. But unfortunately it’s usually sugar-free pudding or fat free ice cream.
14. I love to cook
15. I wish fettuccini alfredo was fat-free. I would eat of a lot of that.
16. I have been on every diet known to man. I have never been overweight, mind you, I think I just like to see what they’ll do and how good they’ll work.
17. I would have like to have been a nutritionist. I find all of that very interesting
18. I have been on the internet since 1996
19. I have been an Ebay member since 1999
20. The very first thing I bought on Ebay was a vase with all of the zodiac signs on it. Funny how you remember your first.
21. Other things I’ve bought: comforter set, monogrammed pillows, my wedding band, Tivo, football tickets, a TV, antique canisters, and a credit card processing machine. Total items over 450.
22. I love computers. I would have also like to have been a computer science major in college
23. I majored in broadcasting though, but only until my senior year.
24. Then switched it to political science. I changed for a number of reasons, but the decision-maker was when I was reading a cheesy beach book about a nosy-ass reporter who brought down the White House. She got on my nerves so bad that I didn’t want to be a reporter anymore. Bad, huh? Whats even worse? I was one of the few people who knew what my college woudl be in the third grade.
25. I don’t’ have a favorite movie. There are too many great ones out there to pick just one.
26. There are two make-up pieces that will never change in my collection: Voluminous mascara from Loreal and Endless lipstick from Loreal.

35. Mostly, the only alcohol I will touch is wine, Miller Lites, and Vodka.
36. I love spell-check. Thank God for it. Otherwise, I don’t think you would ever be able to read a thing I write.
37. I am a Democrat through and through.
38. My first kiss was with a guy names Twinkie in the back row of the movie, Alien 3. (can you tell how hard I have tried to forget THAT one?)

40. I love the movie Shag. I know every word
41. My family has a condo in Hilton Head. I would like to go more.

44. If there is any insect in my house – bug, fly, wasp, etc – I will try to find a way to save its life – I never kill them
45. I have a fear of flying. I didn’t used to. I had a horrible plane riding experience on a flight back from West Palm Beach and the plane took a huge dip right when we got over the ocean. Scared the shit out of me. Not I have to take Valium during take-off. After that, I’m fine. But, I am usually that loud drunk girl on the flight, so beware.
46. However, my cousin is a pilot for a small plane, and I have flown in it. He let me use the controls and take off and land, too. (although he was there for back-up). It was really fun! But this was pre-bad flight.
47. I don’t like riding horses, either. I got bucked off of one once and it hurt. I think my problem is that I don’t like not having control over the situation. Someone else if flying the plane; and the horse can just run over a cliff with me. I also like to be the one who is driving if there is a group of us going somewhere.
48. My birthday is in September, so I was always the last of my school class to do anything: drink, drive, etc, (but not together, of course)
49. When my family vacationed in the Bahamas, both my sisters went parasailing over the ocean, but I was chicken shit and didn’t do it. But I don’t regret it, though
50. While there we went to a restaurant that would serve sharks leftover steak from that day. They would throw it off the pier every night. It was a tourist attraction, and quite scary. Dozens of the huge sharks would come up and fight over the meat. It was very fascinating.

65. I love the ocean. There is nothing better than sitting in the sun with a drink reading a book.
66. I am more of a radio person vs. a CD person. I like variety in music.
67. But not really in anything else. I usually order the exact thing each time I frequent a restaurant.
68. I only had one grandparent growing up. The others unfortunately died before I was born.
69. I love Math. My senior year of high school I had the highest average in the class, and I was the basis for any grade curve on tests.
70. My mother was a math teacher (she is now a guidance counselor) When we went to Dallas to visit my sister, we had a “quadratic equation solving contest”. My sister thought we were the biggest nerds, and she was probably right.

79. I love my blog. It is so fun. And b/c of this blog, I now contribute to two more.
80. I hate jazz. I don’t like any music that doesn’t have continuous words. I don’t like music concerts where they go into this big instrumental thing (a la Dave Matthews, jazz, and indie groups). That is when I make a beer run.
81. I have never been skiing
82. I have never been out of the country (only to the Bahamas)
83. I am forever cold. At any point during the day, my hands are like ice. I have my heater on at work right now. And it’s July.
84. I have tried to make sushi at home. But it’s really hard to do and doesn’t taste the same.
85. I hate talking on the phone. Just say what you need and let’s get it over with.
86. I have a few very close friends and lots of other friends.
87. I am a terrible friend though. They have to make the effort to continue the relationship, because I suck at it.
88. I like making up my own words and calling them “Mandyisms”.
89. I have random dreams involving celebrities. But not hot ones. Usually Bill Murray and people like that. Just normal dudes.
90. I really like juvenile humor. Random, stupid jokes are the best,
91. I have never broken or sprained anything – or gotten stitches. (knock on wood!)
92. I have met quite a few celebrities in my life, but none exciting enough to talk about.
93. I really love living in Nashville. It is a big town with a small town feel.
94. I love reading the comics. The other day I was on the “For Better of Worse” site and read the whole series when Farley dies. I cried like a baby.
95. I have only been to see one movie in the theater by myself. It is a very hard thing to do. It was “Big Fish”.
96. I have lots of movies at my house, but very rarely watch them. However, if they come on TV, I am glued. Weird, huh?
97. If I am watching TV, I am more than likely watching the following channels: E!, The Style Network, and TBS.
98. My favorite candy bar is a Butterfinger, but I haven’t eaten one in years.
99. I was a Disney kid growing up – not a Warner Brothers.
100. I had to go on other people’s 100 things pages to get ideas about what to write about. I am such a cheater.
and 101. I say fabulous too much. The word fabulous is "fabulous". So sue me...bitch.

A lot of people ask me how I like living in Costa Rica. My answer is, it was the best decision that I made in my life. I came to Costa Rica 7 years ago on a vacation and quickly fell in love with the beauty of the country and the hospitality of the people here. I couldn't wait to come back. I started coming here about 4 times per year and always had a great time and didn't want to leave. Two years ago, I decided to leave Arizona and come live in Paradise. I can not tell you how happy I am that I made that decision. Today, I wake up next to the ocean and run on the beach every morning. I eat the most delicious fruits, vegetables and fresh seafood. My stress levels are much lower than when I was living in the States and the potential here for investing, truly is unlimited. The best part of living here is showing our clients this country. I really don't feel like I have a job for the first time in my life. The joy I receive when I see the look on people's faces when they get into the warm water of the Pacific ocean is truly priceless. For those of you that have come and discovered paradise, you know what I am talking about. For those of you that are on the way, I can't wait to get you here. And to those who are thinking about Costa Rica, please do yourself a favor and come down. You will have the time of your life.

In 1992, Saved by the Bell's first made-for-TV movie, Saved by the Bell: Hawaiian Style aired. This movie occurred during the continuity of the original series, during a summer vacation. In the movie, Kelly's grandfather, played by Dean Jones, invites the kids to stay at his hotel in Hawaii. However, someone else is out to buy his land and build a hotel/resort complex, and the group has to save it. sportsbook After the College Years spin-off was completed, a second movie was aired entitled Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas. The plot of the film was based upon the wedding of Zack and Kelly, which had been set up at the end of the spin-off series. The movie included most of the cast members from both the original series and the College Years series. This was the final appearance for Kelly from the original series (Jessie also appears briefly toward the end of the movie), and Alex and Mike from the "College Years" series.
